Shipping Policy


We process and ship orders Monday through Friday. In stock orders will ship within 1-3 business days. Clients will be given an estimated turnaround time for all pre-hung and custom orders. We ship to all of the 48 Continental United States. We don't ship to APO, FPO, PO Boxes or personal mailboxes. Please use a valid street address for delivery of your order. All shipments are fully insured by the shipping carrier. Any change of delivery date or address must be received in writing and called in to our office within 6 hours of placing your order. All our doors are shipped safely in a solid and secure crating system, specifically designed to protect your door, and to ensure that the door and all parts that ship with it arrive in perfect condition.

Shipping rates are calculated based on the number of doors in your order. Prices start at $150 for the first door and increase by $60 for each additional door or sidelite. Unlike most companies we do not charge extra shipping charges for crating and pre-hung. Shipping is free on orders over $3500.

Will Call Service
"Will Call" service is available to our Los Angeles CA area customers!
If you wish to pick up your order yourself from our manufacturer’s warehouse in Los Angeles CA, please call us prior to arriving to arrange pick up. We will refund your shipping charges and email you availability date and further instructions for pick up.
Our warehouse in Los Angeles is not a retail location, orders must be processed prior to pick up.

Total Estimated Delivery Time
The total delivery time for your order is calculated from the time your order is placed until the time you receive it. The diagram below shows how the Total Delivery Time is broken down into pre-ship processing time and shipping time. Estimated Delivery Time
Pre-Ship Processing Time is the time it takes from when you submit your order to when the product leaves the warehouse. This time is needed for products that are shipped directly from the manufacturers to our distribution facilities. The manufacturers need this time to fulfill your order and in some cases, custom build the product.

Shipping Time is measured from when your order leaves the warehouse to when it arrives at your location


Method of Shipping
Your order will be shipped ground via truck freight company. A company representative will contact you prior to shipment to schedule a convenient date for delivery. We will provide you with all necessary delivery information to prepare you for delivery, including: full carrier information, contact numbers, tracking numbers and turnaround times. It will be your responsibility to work with the delivery center servicing your area to schedule an appointment time on the expected date of delivery. Re-delivery fee maybe assessed by the freight company if you miss your appointment. If you are unable to take delivery of your products within two days after the shipment arrives to the service center, the carrier may also assess monetary charges for storage fees, which you would be responsible for.

Products will be delivered to the back of the truck or the tailgate. Lift gate service is optional (additional charge apply), please ask for details. Sometimes the truck driver will assist in removing the product from the truck, but they are not required to do so. We recommend at least 2-3 people be present when the product is removed from the pallet since the doors are solid wood and very heavy! During unloading of the doors from the truck, Doors4Home.com assumes no responsibility or liability for damage to the product, personal injury to someone or any other issue that may arise due to moving the product from the curbside to the inside space.

Customer is responsible to inspect the freight for shortages or signs of damage upon receipt of goods while the driver is still there. If there is any freight damage the customer must refuse the freight and note it (type and location) on the freight company’s paperwork. If the customer finds any freight damage after the driver leaves it is the customer’s responsibility to file a freight claim with the freight company.

If there is any damage at time of delivery, please call us at 1-877-929-3667 immediately and note damage on freight bill.


Doors4home.com is responsible for making payments to the shipping and delivery vendors directly. You, the customer, do NOT have to pay anything to the truckers at the time of delivery or at any other time. Any and all such payments, if made by the customer to the carrier company or its representatives, for any additional or existing services will be at your sole discretion and cost. You agree that Doors4home.comwill not refund such payments under any circumstances.


IF THE DELIVERY ADDRESS IS INACCESSIBLE OR INVALID, CUSTOMER AGREES TO PAY THE PURCHASEORDER AMOUNT AND THE ADDITIONAL DELIVERY CHARGES. WE STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST PICKING-UPTHE ORDER FROM THE FREIGHT COMPANY`S TERMINAL OR ANY LOCATION OTHER THAN THE DELIVERYADDRESS SINCE DOORS4HOME.COM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES.
DOORS4HOME.COM IS NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OTHER THAN THOSE MENTIONED ON THE FREIGHTCOMPANY`S DELIVERY RECEIPT. PLEASE ENSURE YOU INSPECT THE CONTENT OF YOUR ORDERBEFORE SIGNING THE DELIVERY FREIGHT RECEIPT.
THE TRUCKER WILL NOT UNCRATE OR OPEN THE PACKAGE. THE CUSTOMER WILL HAVE TO OPENTHE BOXES AND INSPECT THE CONTENTS.

Installation and/or use of any door product constitutes customer's acceptance. No damage or shortage claim can be made once a door/ unit has been installed!
