Shipping Policy

Doors4Home.com has tried to make its shipping and handling prices and policies as fair as possible, so you benefit from our competitive pricing, plus the convenience of delivery to your door.

We do our best to ensure that shipping is correctly calculated before you purchase; however, at times it may not be possible to do so accurately. We reserve the right to notify you after you’ve purchased an item of any additional shipping or handling charges necessary to deliver your order. If notified of any additional charges, you also have the right to modify or cancel your order for a full refund.

We process and ship orders Monday through Friday. We ship to all of the 48 Continental United States. All our doors are shipped safely in a solid and secure crating system, specifically designed to protect your door, and to ensure that the door and all parts that ship with it arrive in perfect condition.

Please note:
  • All shipments are fully insured by the shipping carrier.
  • Any change of delivery date or address must be received in writing and called in to our office within 24 hours of placing your order.
  • Pre-hung order (except single door units) - Door frame will ship disassembled to prevent damage during transit. Frame assembly is straight forward and requires only a screw driver. All screws and parts are included.

Shipping and Order Confirmations

Shortly after placing your order, you’ll receive an email confirming that we’ve received your order. You’ll receive a second email when your order has shipped. (You’ll receive more than one shipment confirmation email if your order is fulfilled in multiple shipments). Please save these email invoices for your records.

Address Restrictions

At this time, we do not ship to P.O. Boxes or military APO/FPO addresses. Please provide a valid physical address during checkout.

Unlike most companies we do not charge extra shipping charges for crating.

Free Shipping *

Doors4Home provides FREE ground shipping to the contiguous 48 states on most orders over $5000. All orders identified as eligible for Free Shipping will qualify for the Free Shipping program, subject to certain exceptions. There are a number of reasons why your order might not be eligible for Free Shipping:
  1. If the actual shipping charges exceeds $700 Doors4Home reserves the right to charge for the difference. We will notify you prior to processing the order if such shipping charge is required. You will than have the option to pay for the difference or cancel the order.
  2. The Free shipping offer will not apply to any order where cancellations or returns reduce the amount of qualifying purchases to less than $5000; Doors4Home reserves the right to charge applicable shipping and handling costs to any such orders.

Will Call Service

If you wish to pick up your order yourself from our manufacturer’s warehouse please call us prior to arriving to arrange pick up. We will refund your shipping charges and email you availability date and further instructions for pick up.
The manufacturer’s warehouse is not a retail location, orders must be processed prior to pick up.

Total Estimated Delivery Time

The total delivery time for your order is calculated from the time your order is placed until the time you receive it. The diagram below shows how the Total Delivery Time is broken down into pre-ship processing time and shipping time.

Pre-Ship Processing Time

The time it takes from when you submit your order to when the product leaves the warehouse. This time is needed for products that are shipped directly from the manufacturers to our distribution facilities. The manufacturers need this time to fulfill your order and in some cases, custom build the product.

Shipping Your Order

Your order will be shipped ground via truck freight company. A company representative will contact you prior to shipment to schedule a convenient date for delivery. We will provide you with all necessary delivery information to prepare you for delivery, including: full carrier information, contact numbers, tracking numbers and turnaround times.

It will be your responsibility to work with the delivery center servicing your area to schedule an appointment time on the expected date of delivery.

Re-delivery fee maybe assessed by the freight company if you miss your appointment. If you are unable to take delivery of your products within two days after the shipment arrives to the service center, the carrier may also assess monetary charges for storage fees, which you would be responsible for.

We recommend at least 2-3 people be present when the product is removed from the pallet since the doors are very heavy! During unloading of the doors from the truck, Doors4Home.com assumes no responsibility or liability for damage to the product, personal injury to someone or any other issue that may arise due to moving the product from the curbside to the inside space.

Please note:
Customer is responsible to inspect the freight for shortages or signs of damage upon receipt of goods while the driver is still there. If there is any freight damage the customer must refuse the freight and note it (type and location) on the freight company’s paperwork. If the customer finds any freight damage after the driver leaves it is the customer’s responsibility to file a freight claim with the freight company.
If there is any damage at time of delivery, please refuse delivery and note "damage" on the freight bill.
Doors4home.com is responsible for making payments to the shipping and delivery vendors directly. You, the customer, do NOT have to pay anything to the truckers at the time of delivery or at any other time. Any and all such payments, if made by the customer to the carrier company or its representatives, for any additional or existing services will be at your sole discretion and cost. You agree that Doors4home.com will not refund such payments under any circumstances.
Please note:

IF THE DELIVERY ADDRESS IS INACCESSIBLE OR INVALID, CUSTOMER AGREES TO PAY THE PURCHASE ORDER AMOUNT AND THE ADDITIONAL DELIVERY CHARGES. WE STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST PICKING-UP THE ORDER FROM THE FREIGHT COMPANY`S TERMINAL OR ANY LOCATION OTHER THAN THE DELIVERY ADDRESS SINCE DOORS4HOME.COM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES.

DOORS4HOME.COM IS NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OTHER THAN THOSE MENTIONED ON THE FREIGHT COMPANY`S DELIVERY RECEIPT. PLEASE ENSURE YOU INSPECT THE CONTENT OF YOUR ORDER BEFORE SIGNING THE DELIVERY FREIGHT RECEIPT.

THE DRIVER WILL NOT UNCRATE OR OPEN THE PACKAGE. THE CUSTOMER WILL HAVE TO OPEN THE BOXES AND INSPECT THE CONTENTS.

Installation and/or use of any door product constitutes customer's acceptance. No damage or shortage claim can be made once a door/ unit has been installed!
