Purchase Terms and Conditions

Entire Agreement

Other than as specifically provided in any separate formal purchase agreement between you and Doors4Home, LLC, these terms and conditions (this "Agreement") apply to all of your purchases from Doors4Home, LLC both online at www.doors4home.com (the "Site") and offline and may NOT be altered, supplemented, or amended by you through the use of any other document(s). Any attempt to alter, supplement, or amend this document or to enter an order for product(s), which is subject to additional or altered terms and conditions, will be null and void, unless otherwise agreed to in a written agreement signed by both you and Doors4Home LLC.

Acceptance

By purchasing products and/or services from Doors4Home, LLC, you agree to be bound by and accept this agreement. Orders are not binding upon Doors4Home, LLC until accepted by Doors4Home, LLC. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Doors4Home, LLC will indicate its acceptance of an order by acknowledging your order by reply email or by shipping the ordered items to you.

Payments

Orders may be paid for using the following methods: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, cashier's checks, and personal checks by mail. All non-credit-card orders are subject to a 10-business-day hold. We reserve the right to require cashier check, personal check or wire transfer for orders over $5,000.00.

Warranty

Products sold by doors4home come with a limited manufacturer's warranty. The warranty period and service varies by manufacturer and product. Please read the manufacturer's warranty thoroughly and follow all requirements and instructions. Failing to follow manufacturer's requirements and instructions will void your warranty. By purchasing from doors4home you acknowledge that you have read the manufacturer's warranty.

IT IS UP TO THE MANUFACTURER'S DISCRETION TO ACCEPT OR DENY ANY CLAIM AND NOT DOORS4HOME.

Doors must be installed by a licensed qualified professional door company to qualify for warranty. Installation without proper tools and knowledge can result in personal injury. Inspect all of the shipped parts and account for everything before commencing any work.

Special Orders

ALL SPECIAL ORDERS SUCH AS PRE-HUNG DOORS, PRE-FINISH DOORS AND CUSTOM SIZE DOORS ARE NON-RETURNABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE.

Shipping

We process and ship orders Monday through Friday. We ship to all of the 48 Continental United States. All our doors are shipped safely in a solid and secure crating system on a pallet, specifically designed to protect your door, and to ensure that the door and all parts that ship with it arrive in perfect condition.

Your order will be shipped ground via freight company (LTL). We will provide you with all necessary delivery information to prepare you for delivery, including: full carrier information, contact numbers and tracking numbers. A representative from the freight company will contact you to schedule a convenient date and time of delivery. It will be your responsibility to work with the delivery center servicing your area to schedule an appointment time on the expected date of delivery. If you have scheduled delivery and then no one is present to receive the order when the carrier arrives, a redelivery fee will be charged that would need to be paid to us directly so the carrier can reschedule. It is important therefore that you adhere to the appointment that you made with the carrier and notify them of any changes as soon as possible. If you are unable to be successfully contacted to schedule delivery within two days once the local freight carrier is in possession of your order, daily storage fees will begin to be charged that you will be responsible for paying us before the order can be delivered to you. If the delivery address is inaccessible or invalid, you agrees to pay Doors4Home any additional delivery charges to have the order re-routed to the correct address.

Customer is responsible to inspect the freight for shortages or signs of damage upon receipt of goods while the driver is still present. If there is any freight damage the customer must refuse the freight and note "damage - refuse delivery" on the freight company’s paperwork. If the customer finds any freight damage after the driver leaves it is the customer’s responsibility to file a freight claim with the freight company.

ACCEPTANCE OF SHIPMENT AND SIGNING THE DELIVERY RECEIPT BY THE CUSTOMER OR THE CUSTOMER'S REPRESENTATIVES IS AN ACKNOWLEDGMENT THAT:

  1. MERCHANDISE DELIVERED IN SATISFACTORY CONDITION IN CONFORMITY WITH YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
  2. RELEASES THE FREIGHT COMPANY AND DOORS4HOME FROM ALL DAMAGE CLAIMS.

Doors4home, LLC is not liable for damages other than those mentioned on the freight company's delivery receipt. Please ensure you inspect the content of your order before signing the delivery freight receipt. The trucker will not un-crate or open the package. The customer will have to open the boxes and inspect the contents.

During unloading of the doors from the truck, Doors4Home, LLC assumes no responsibility or liability for damage to the product, personal injury to someone or any other issue that may arise due to moving the product from the curbside to the inside space.

Doors4Home, LLC is responsible for making payments to the shipping and delivery vendors directly. You, the customer, do NOT have to pay anything to the truckers at the time of delivery or at any other time. Any and all such payments, if made by the customer to the carrier company or its representatives, for any additional or existing services will be at your sole discretion and cost. You agree that Doors4Home, LLC will not refund such payments under any circumstances.

Doors4Home, LLC reserve the right to notify our customers after you’ve purchased an item of any additional shipping or handling charges necessary to deliver the order. If notified of any additional charges, customer have the right to modify or cancel the order for a full refund.

Damaged Items

In the unlikely event that an item you ordered arrives damaged please CALL US within 1 business day.

All the manufacturers that Doors4Home works with will replace whichever parts are needed to give you a complete undamaged unit. This is often quicker than replacing an entire unit. If there are too many damaged parts, a new unit may be sent to you. If a new unit is sent out, it will be sent with the same shipping method and processing time as the original order unless special circumstances apply.

Please do not refuse delivery of an entire shipment due to damage of a particular item such as trim or hardware, as this will greatly delay replacement of damaged merchandise.

Photos are required to confirm the extent of damages for the manufacturer to determine if replacement parts or a full unit replacement is required.

IMPORTANT: If you decide to cancel the order due to damage without giving us the opportunity to replace or repair the unit a 25% restocking fee will apply.

Cancellation

Order cancellation applies to custom orders, pre-hung orders and / or prefinished orders only. Order cancellations are not allowed for these orders, unless the order is cancelled prior to commencement of production. A minimum 10% cancellation fee will be assessed regardless of the reason for cancellation. Additional cancellation fees may be assessed to cover any loss sustained by Doors4Home,LLC.

Returns

All products sold by Doors4Home, LLC are guaranteed by the manufacturer and insured by the shipping company to arrive in perfect condition. However, purchased items may be returned within three (3) days of receiving shipment. A 25% restocking fee will apply to all doors/slab orders. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. Shipping charges are non-refundable with the exception of damaged or defective merchandise. No refund will be made for purchases until the items have safely arrived to our manufacturer’s warehouse.

Installation, staining or any other modifications to the door or frame implies that the door was received in good condition as described and can’t be returned!

Customers who wish to return non-damaged items must pay return shipping fees. Authorization from Doors4Home is required prior to the return of any item. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within one day of delivery to arrange an exchange or refund. Please make sure to keep your receipt and return the product in its original packaging. Doors4Home, LLC will not assume the transportation charges for any products returned by any transportation agency or company for products purchased through Doors4Home.

Refunds

You can expect your refund within four weeks from the date you return your order. In most cases you will receive a refund sooner, but we estimate four weeks because of the time required for return shipping, product inspection and processing from your bank or credit card company. All refunds are issued to the original method of payment unless you selected to return for in-store credit. Once your return is processed we will send you an email with your refund details.

Limitation of Liability

DOORS4HOME, LLC DOES NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH HEREIN. DOORS4HOME, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR STATUTORY DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOU AGREE THAT FOR ANY LIABILITY RELATED TO THE PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES BUNDLED WITH THE PRODUCTS, WHETHER FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY IN TORT OR OTHERWISE, DOORS4HOME, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AMOUNT OF DAMAGES ABOVE THE AGGREGATE DOLLAR AMOUNT PAID BY CUSTOMER FOR THE PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT GIVING RISE TO SUCH LIABILITY.

Doors4Home is not responsible for transportation, shipping, removal, finishing, labor, installation charges or costs incurred in replacing a product or any other costs relating to the replacement of a product. In addition, Doors4Home shall not be responsible for indirect, consequential or incidental damages.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Applicable Law-Resale or Export

You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the various states and of the United States. You agree and represent that you are buying for your own personal use only, and not for resale or export.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall for all purposes be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas as those laws are applied to contracts entered into and to be performed entirely in Texas, without regard to conflicts of law provisions. Any suit or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be commenced exclusively in state or federal court in Travis County, Texas, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
