By adding the pre-hung option to your door selection, you will receive a full unit with the doors prepped, hinged and assembled to your specifications. This complete package ensures smooth, easy installation with a precise fit. Please add two doors and two sidelites to your cart along with this option if you wish to order a pre-hung double doors with two sidelites. Price below doesn’t include doors and sidelites.

With our double door and two sidelites pre-hung option, both doors will be operable and hinged to the frame, sidelites are stationary. We will pre-drill the primary door for handle and deadbolt. Most handle sets on the market for double door units feature an operable handle and a dummy handle. The secondary door will come with 2-7/8"x2-1/8" T-astragal and 6” flush bolts. We will not pre-drill a bore on the secondary door for a handle unless requested in the notes.

Pre-hung assembly includes:

• Your choice of solid wood kerfed rabbeted jambs in 4-9/16", 5-1/4" or 6-5/8" (call us for custom sizes)
• Adjustable anodized Aluminum sill (threshold) in Zinc, Bronze, Brass or solid Oak
• Q-lon weather stripping in white or Bronze
• Door shoe in Brass, Bronze or Zinc
• 4"x4" commercial grade ball-bearing hinges in Zinc, Brass or Bronze (3 hinges for 80" door, 4 hinges for 84" and 96" door)
• 5/8"x2-1/2" interior colonial casing
• 1-1/4"x2-1/4" exterior brick mould
• 2-7/8"x2-1/8" Kerfed T-astragal
• Pair of 6" flush bolts to match the hinges
• Pre-drilled cylinder bore in 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset with 2-1/8" face bore for a handleset (on main door)
• Pre-drilled cylinder bore for a deadbolt (on main door)

To calculate rough opening add 4-1/2” to the total width of the two doors plus the two sidelites and 2” to the height of the door.

To prevent damage during transit pre-hung units will be delivered knocked down (disassembled). Some assembly required.


Orders with pre-hung options are normally shipped within 3-4 weeks.
